Dear friends: this website has been discontinued,
we just don't have the time to keep it going. However,
we are now sharing kayaking pictures and stories on our
Facebook page at http://fb.me/KeenanGlenWellar

You do not need to have a Facebook account to access the page.

Please note that you may still find the old trip
reports (below) useful if you are planning a paddle!

JULIE KEENAN
You can ride a canoe, or you can wear a kayak.

The choice is yours!

Whatever your decision, we hope that our journal
of journeys will inspire you to get out on the water!

We hope that you benefit from visiting gokayaking.ca! Our main purpose is to share information about kayaking routes that we have explored. Through reading the accounts and viewing the photographs linked below, you will find out about launch sites, distances, water conditions, wildlife, and more. Most of the journeys take place in the Eastern Ontario region, and in most cases the trip description is accompanied by a map with notations.

Please note that this is not a whitewater kayaking site. The information will be of greatest interest to touring kayakers (sea kayaks) and canoeists.

Before you proceed, we require that you read Keenan & Julie's Kayaking Rules. We won't force you. We trust that you have the integrity to honour our request. However, you should be aware that those who ignore this request often report an excessive reaction to future insect bites!

There are a few questions that we get asked often,
so we have provided some of the answers through the two links below:
